The Cooking Pot is a mystical bubbling cauldron located on Mystery Island in the Neopets' world of Neopia. Here, you create a variety of new and exciting items with secret recipes. Newcomers to the world of Neopets may need some help getting started at the Cooking Pot, but once they get going, there will be no stopping the fantastic creation of strange new items.

    Basics

  1. At the cooking pot, you with meet Jhuidah the Island Faerie. She instructs you to offer three items to the god, Pango Pango. A drop down list at the bottom of the page lets you select up to three items from your inventory. If you have additional items stored in a Neopets safe deposit box, you need to move these to your inventory before you can offer them to Pango Pango.
  2. Items

  3. You can select any combination of two or three items for the cooking pot. Keep in mind that the types of items you use influences the resulting surprise. If you place two bottles of sand in the cooking pot, any resulting item be a sand sculpture; if you send food items into the pot, you may receive a new and unique piece of food. In the melting pot, you can create several different types of items, including sand sculptures, battle items, food, grubs, neggs, petpets and toys.
  4. Recipes

  5. Many recipes are available for the cooking pot (see Resources). However, experimentation may also result in new and unexpected discoveries. To get you started at the cooking pot, try creating a sand sculpture. Bottles of sand are fairly inexpensive and easy to find. Black and blue sand will create a triangular sand sculpture, while red and green will make a swirly sand sculpture. For some delicious new foods, try mixing a strawberry chia pop with a vanilla milkshake or a doughnutfruit with snowberries. Keep trying new combinations to create surprising and fun new items.
