Add a few accessories to your kitchen. Move the basket of flowers from your mantel to your kitchen counter. Fold a wash cloth into a fan shape, secure it with a ponytail holder in a coordinating color and place it on your counter. Use your old ribbon or lace to wrap around your wooden cooking utensils and place them in a teapot.

Furniture

Move your old dresser from the guest room into your kitchen and use it for additional storage. Try hiding your small appliances like your electric can opener or juicer in the roll-top desk you have in another room.
