Blow up a balloon and tie it shut. Make a paste by adding 1 cup of flour to 2 cups of water. Mix until it is the consistency of glue. Cut some newspapers into 1-1/2-inch strips and dip them one at a time in the paste. Place them over the balloon. Do this until the balloon is completely covered. Wait for it to dry and add a second layer.
When that layer drys, you can paint the balloon any color you wish. Turn it so the large part of the balloon (which is usually the top) is facing your left. That is the fish's face. His tail will be the smaller end. After painting your fish, you can glue on a tail. Just cut a triangle out of a piece of construction paper. - Cut a small triangle out of a paper plate. The cut will be the fish's mouth. Flip the cut triangle and staple it to the opposite edge of the paper plate. It is now the fish's tail. Paint the fish with lots of beautiful colors. Glue on a googly eye. You can then add some glitter to make the fish sparkle. If you do this while the paint is wet, the glitter will dry with the paint so that you don't need to use any glue. Proudly display your fish.

Spread out some newspaper to cover the table before beginning this craft. Then take a plain white coffee filter and flatten it out. Color the filter with colored markers. (Crayons won't work for this craft.) Sprinkle some water on the filter when it has been completely colored and then set it out to dry, either naturally for a few hours or in a few minutes using a blow dryer on low heat.
Use scissors to cut out a triangle to form the fish's mouth. Flip the triangle over and glue it to the opposite edge of the filter to make up the fish's tail. Add some scales by cutting out pieces of tinfoil and gluing them to the fish. Use a permanent black marker to give the fish an eye.
