How Much Water Should You Drink When Pregnant?

Although your doctor may have specific suggestions for how much you personally should drink, you should generally aim to get roughly 10 cups of water per day while pregnant.

Aim for 2.3 Liters recommends that pregnant women drink 10 cups, or 2.3 liters, of water per day. According to a study published in 2002 in The Journal of Perinatal Medicine, drinking water during pregnancy is vitally important because your body uses the water to improve circulation to the fetus, provide amniotic fluid and help relieve constipation.
