Homemade Spiderman Party Decorations

Are you hosting a Spiderman party? If so, then you're in luck. There are several fun ways to make homemade Spiderman party decorations. You can make a giant web of crepe paper, a cutout city skyline and personalized newspaper clippings that will make your Spiderman party a hit.

Make a Spiderman Web Decoration

Use black crepe paper streamers to create a web that covers the whole room. Start in the center by creating an X and then a + on the ceiling, that extends all the way to the floor, so that you have 8 "main lines." Return to the center and work in a spiral, taping the streamer at each intersection, covering the ceiling and the walls.

Make a City Skyline

Use cardboard cutouts to make a city skyline. Use black spray paint to make them look silhouetted. Line them up along the edges of the room. You might want to put teeny little Spiderman shapes leaping between buildings, or your favorite villains peeking out from behind.

Print the Spiderman News

Using the newsletter wizard or template of a desktop publishing program, like Microsoft Publisher, design the front page of a newspaper with a headline like "Spiderman Saves Michael's Birthday from the Green Goblin." If you're crafty with photo-editing software, you could even include a picture of Michael and Spiderman. Create a few different headlines or just print the same one a few times to hang on the wall or to decorate the table.
