Provide information consistent with general graduation etiquette. However, the limits of how to word that information are not strict. Graduation day envelopesAn example of what to say on a high school graduation invitation is as follows: Write on the first line: "The Senior Class of (fill in school name)." On the second line, write, "(School Name) announces its Commencement Exercises." Write on the next line, spelled out, the day, date, year, and time. Be sure to spell all numbers, including the year. On the fourth line, write the location name (e.g., "McNichols Arena"). Write the city and state on the last line. Fully spell the state. -
Graduation inviteAddress envelopes in blue or black ink. Write only the invitee's mailing information on the front of the envelope. Write the graduate's return information on back of the envelope, at the top center.
