The most natural way to help rid yourself of hemorrhoids is by eating foods that soften the stool, making them easier to pass. Here is a common sense approach to those foods.

Add Fiber

Adding fiber to your diet is often the trick to softening stools. Grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables are key.

Eat a grain-based cereal every morning; Raisin Bran is both palatable and full of bulky fiber. You can also make homemade bran muffins using Bran cereal, which is lower is sugar than the muffins purchased in a market.

Enjoy an apple for a snack, including the peeling.
