Detoxing from marijuana use can be a long process, regardless of what you hear people say, as the drug can stay in your system for up to two weeks after use, depending on the frequency that you used it. Luckily, there are ways to speed things up.

    Water

  1. Drinking about a gallon of water a day can remove the traces of the drug within as little as three days. However, results vary depending on the size of the person and how often the person uses the drug.
  2. Incorporate Juices

  3. Juices used to clean the urinary tract, such as cranberry or pomegranate, are effective once the person is past the water stage. If an at-home test is still showing traces of the drug after the third day of water intake, move to more cleansing beverages such as the ones named here. After about the fourth day, a test should read clean.
  4. Last Resort

  5. If water and juice are not doing the trick, try a marijuana detox kit, which can be purchased online or in local drug stores. Detox kits go above just cleansing your urine---they can also take traces of the drug out of your hair, as well.
