Dogs are wonderful pets and companions and most dogs live with people who want them to behave in a way that makes them pleasant to be around, keeps them safe, and provides for the safety of other people and pets. Dogs do not figure out basic obedience on their own; they must be trained. Some dog breeds are typically easier to train than others but no breed is impossible to obedience train. Owners just need to be patient, reward desired behavior, correct undesired behavior and seek the advice and help of dog training experts when needed. When the dog obeys the command, it gets an reward or treat, thus reinforcing the obedience of the command. While a pet dog may not need to learn advanced skills, it should master certain commands such as come, sit and stay, and how to walk on the leash. In this free video series on dog obedience, a professional dog trainer demonstrates how to crate train a dog, how to keep it from being aggressive toward visitors and how to teach a dog to walk on a leash. Also learn how to train a dog to poop in the same place and keep from barking so much. Watch this free video series and have a well-behaved dog in no time at all.
