Thinking of updating the sound system in your vehicle? Cassettes are totally awesome, but now that you don’t have the time or energy to rummage through boxes of old tapes at your local garage sale, it might be time to consider installing some new audio equipment in your car. Depending on the replacement model stereo you choose, you might finally be able to play a CD, or possibly even impress your work friends as you play your i-pod on the way to lunch.

In this series of free videos, you’ll get step-by-step instructions on how to replace your old car radio. Expert Jon Olson takes you through the entire installation process, from removing the old stereo, speakers and covers, to installing and wiring your new system. The installation process is fairly simple and makes a great do-it-yourself project. Your old vehicle will sound better than ever, especially now that you can rock the digitally remastered reissue of Boston’s debut release.
