FL Studio is a program used to create, mix and edit digital music. Formerly known as Fruity Loops, this digital audio workstation includes support for MIDI data and extensive editing features. Files created in FL Studio can be exported to a variety of formats, including MP3 and WAV files. The FL Studio sequencer can be used to generate patterns and beats, as well as to refine pre-existing MIDI files. The program has been used by many composers of electronic dance music and rave music, as well as by songwriters in genres such as country and even classical music. A variety of plug-ins are available for the program which allow you to fine-tune your beats and songs. The "generators" in the program replicate a vast array of sounds and instruments, from oscillators and Moog keyboards to bass guitars and drum synthesizers. This program is fun and easy to use, and has a large network of users. In this free FL Studio tutorial, our expert will show you how to generate sounds from scratch using the oscillator and wave form manipulation features of this powerful program. Learn how to use the sine wave generator, the square wave generator and the sawtooth wave generator.
