Flower bulbs are bought in the fall, planted and while we may mean to put the tags with them, we often don't, or the tags fall away. When they bloom in the spring, we're left wondering what was it that was so beautiful. We want to get more, but have no idea what the name of the flower was. In this free gardening video series we're going to take a look at spring blooming flower bulbs. When springtime comes, and the flowers bloom, we will be able to identify them. This series focuses on daffodils and tulips, while also mentioning a few other flowers that bloom in the spring. Get started now and learn how to recognize those gorgeous flowers in the garden.

Yolanda Vanveen Yolanda Vanveen is a third-generation flower grower and sustainable gardener who lives in Kalama, Washington. She is the owner of vanveenbulbs.com and has sold flower bulbs on the Internet, at garden shows and at farmers' markets in the Pacific Northwest for more than 15 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications and international studies from Linfield College and is a graduate of the WSU Master Gardener Program.
