Salads date back to the first time someone somewhere pulled a lettuce leaf out of the ground and ate it. We here at expert village are unable to confirm exactly when this happened, but have narrowed our guess down to “a very long time ago.” Lettuce and other leafy green vegetables are generally considered the primary ingredients of salads. Such is the case with this particular salad recipe, but our gourmet dish contains so much more, including pears, dates, onions and toasted nuts in addition to the different kinds of lettuce.

In this free salad recipe video, our expert chef will demonstrate how to make a delicious mixed green salad. He begins by showing you the ingredients, then shows your how to wash, slide and plate everything you need to prepare this healthy and delicious dish.
