The Nintedo Wii has caused quite a stir since its debut in the winter of 2006. Getting your hands on the darn thing still remains a challenge, but owners are generally happy once the product is acquired. Major criticisms of the console note its lack of power and graphics compared to other seventh generation machines and the childishness of its launch titles. As spokespeople for Nintendo say, however, both criticisms are welcome. The mission of the Wii is simple: Get more people gaming. The target audience is people aged 4-104, and the people are responding. The titles are slowly ramping up to more serious subjects, including the Hitman franchise and others.
