An estimated 60,000 aquarium hobbyists keep freshwater and saltwater aquariums in their homes worldwide. It became a popular hobby in the 1850s when cast-iron framed glass aquariums were made available to the public. Marc Grover Marc Grover is the co-owner of Underwater Depot. He and his business partner, Chris Bernie, have over 30 years of collective experience in the aquarium industry. They are experts in saltwater, freshwater and reef keeping techniques. Their store was originally called Ben's Tropical Fish, named after the first owner. Ben sold the store to one of his employees in the late 80s. The new owner remodeled the store and changed the name to Underwater Depot. He in turn sold the store to two of his managers in 1998.dkdk
