About the Presenter

Melina Piroso Melina Piroso was born in Argentina and raised in the USA. She studied Fine Arts at FIU in Miami, and Fashion Design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Her art is surrealistic in nature, and while she can produce realism when needed, her artistic nature lends itself to imaginary situations. She worked as an in-house artist painting designs for children's furniture for ten years. Piroso worked as an art teacher at the Homeless Assistance Center in Miami, working specifically with children. She has also worked as a muralist, henna tattoo artist, and freelance graphic designer, but now works as a professional illustrator, and sells hand-painted children's furniture and gifts from her website.dkdk
