Scrapbooking is a craft that utilizes many different skills—photography, page layout and design. Scrapbooking has been around since people were able to have photos in their possession. Christensen began keeping a book of photographs in new devices called sheet protectors. By 1980 she had assembled over 50 of these books and was asked to display them at the World Conference on Records in Salt Lake City.
