In this free video series, belly casting experts Amanda Cooper and Sally Dumas show you how to make and decorate a belly cast. You will learn what supplies to need, how to prepare the model and work area, and safety precautions to take. Amanda and Sally show you how to add hands or breasts to the casting and how to safely remove the plaster after the cast sets. Decorating takes a variety of forms, from traditional painting to decoupage and beads or silk flowers. You will even learn how to restore an old belly cast and keep yours new with repainting.

Amanda Cooper & Sally Dumas Belly Casting experts Amanda Cooper and Sally Dumas from "Mommie & Me Molds" offer affordable belly casting for expectant mothers. This unique creation is best done between the 34th and 38th week of pregnancy. Their mold is usually done from under the breasts to the hipline, however, they can also make casts including the breasts and/or hands. This process usually takes around 1/2 hour to complete, after which they sand and prime the casting to prepare it for painting. Instructions and recommendations for painting, decorating, and personalizing the belly cast are provided. Also, tips for varnishing the finished product will be included. Castings are done at a local hospital, however, other arrangements can be made. Belly casting is a great shower activity you can share with family and friends!dkdk
