Tropical ferns have a relaxing quality like few other types of plants. Maybe it's in the way they move so softly in the gentlest of breezes. He is a member of the American Fern Society, the Los Angeles Fern Society and several regional fern societies. Reggie is a tropical fern specialist and lecturer. He has traveled to Ecuador, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Trinidad, Mexico, Java, Thailand, Borneo, Malaysia, Singapore and Sumatra in search of new and exciting plant material, particularly ferns.
