Home gardens provide a tranquil area for reflection and relaxation. Tending and enjoying a garden can lower blood pressure, ease anxiety, and provide diversion in which to ponder various thoughts that have been lingering in your subconscious.

Flowers, or color, are important focal points in the garden for many gardeners. One very popular type of flower, the Snapdragon, can be planted in beds, baskets, or in pots in your garden. The Snapdragon flowers resemble the folkloric picture of a dragons head and have a “mouth” that opens when the sides of the flower are squeezed. Snapdragons come in many different colors and heights and can be planted together to cause the color to “pop” out of the garden.

In this free online video series learn how to plant and grow Snapdragons from expert gardener Jose Zuniga. Learn gardening tips such as the tools and materials needed to plant Snapdragons; where to buy Snapdragons; how to prepare the soil in your garden; how to plant Snapdragons and where to plant Snapdragons; how to cut the flowers; weed-control; drainage; how to mulch; and how to care for Snapdragons.
