So its cold, wet and snowy outside. Great! Put on your boots and jacket and lets have some fun! There is so much to do as a kid when it shows. You can turn your winter wonderland into a veritable snow park with very little more than what is around you. It doesn't take much more to entertain your kids than what is around them when there is snow on the ground. Use this opportunity to open their minds, to teach tehm about nature and to make them laugh and run.

In this free video series our kids expert, Denise Urban, will show you many different options of games and activities that will entertain any child when snow is involved. With as little as food coloring or colored dye you can draw names and figures in the snow. Snow angels are always a family favorite and Auto Snow is the winter version of spraying the hose in the summer to make it feel like it's raining. I'm getting excited just typing this even though it's 70 degrees outside. Take advantage of your settings and teach your kids about nature by taking them for a walk in the snow and let their minds wander. They will have a blast and love you for it!
