When most people get a cat they don't think about training it to obey. One of the main reasons for this is because potty training is not an issue. They always go in the littler box once they find it and other things like scratching furniture don't enter into the equation until later in life. The truth is that cats need and should get just as much obedience training as dogs or they feel as though they rule the home and you are just in their space. It should be conveyed to your cat that you are the boss and should be obeyed.
In this free video series on training your cat you will learn tips and techniques about why you should train your cat at an early age and how to do that. There is information explaining the equipment you will need and how to use it to its full potential as well as information about how your cat learns and sees the world. These methods are widely used and will work for you. This is a great series if you value your couch cushions.
