Nobody likes to be criticized. It is difficult for us to hear someone tell us our faults. We become uncomfortable when we are shown where we have done something wrong or ineffective. This resistance to criticism carries over from the workplace to the home and other places where we interact with others.

Criticism can be extremely helpful to us if we can receive it. If we can learn some basic skills for receiving criticism then we can reap the benefits and grow as people.
