In this world of endless signs and written instructional information, it is very important to be able to read what is going on around you and for us to teach our children the importance of, not only reading, but reading well.
One common and effective way of teaching children how to read is by reading aloud to them. With this technique, children are able to match the words they see with the sounds coming out of someone's mouth, and thus can make associations.
