The shoulder, comprised of many muscles and three different joints, can be a particularly difficult area to workout and proper technique is essential to avoiding injury. When recovering from a shoulder injury physical therapy exercises are an integral part to regaining range of motion, muscle elasticity, and strength. These exercises can also be used to strengthen uninjured shoulders and serve as warm ups before weightlifting.

In this free online video series learn from Physical Therapist Monica Paradise as she demonstrates shoulder exercises used to increase range of motion, stretch, and strengthen the shoulder. Learn such exercises as the angle raise, arm circles, upper middle back stretch, external shoulder rotation, bicep stretch, lateral shoulder raise, internal shoulder rotation, push up, rear shoulder muscle exercise, shoulder extension, side raise shoulder exercise, and the triceps stretch.
