The Paso Doble is one of the most exciting professional dances to watch. It literally means “two step” in Spanish, and the dance steps are usually quick to accommodate the march-like music. Though the dance was originally developed in France, it captures the dramatic spirit of the Spanish Bullfight. The dance steps are designed around those made by the matador (bullfighter) as he gracefully works his way around the bull and eventually slays it. The woman's role in Paso Doble is usually that of the cape used by the Matador. While there hopefully isn’t any slaying in your average Paso Doble dance, it is still very important to emulate the sheer skill and gracefulness. As a result, there are few dances that appear more passionate and dramatic. It takes a lot of effort to learn, but it is worth it.

In this video series, let Sarolta Eke and Tamas Kassai show you how to dance the Paso Doble. With these free dance lessons, you can learn how to do a variety of Paso Doble movements and techniques. Also, learn how to follow the music, and receive tips for easy choreography. So, take some time and learn this exciting Latin dance today.
