Being in a band can be one of the most rewarding experiences of a lifetime. Standing on stage before a sea of smiling faces would send anybody to the moon and back, regardless of what type of music they played. That feeling is the universal reward of satisfaction and acclaim that drives any entertainer to continue to hone his or her craft to perfection.

Some musicians or groups hope to move beyond small venues and low paying gigs, naturally. They have a drive to make it big, to be discovered, to get signed, hoping to take the steps needed to move from a local band to a pop sensation. But being on top in the world of pop, rock or rap requires a bit of extracurricular activity. If you want to be a part of the music business, then you need to learn a few things about how that industry works. It’s all about marketing, networking, and knowing how to sell yourself and your group to the audience, the public at large, and the music industry.

In this free music and marketing video series, learn how to promote your band using low cost guerrilla marketing tactics, as chances are you’re not going to have much money to spend on promotion to begin with. That’s okay; our expert will equip you with the knowledge you need to get the word out about your band to the fans, the venues, and the record labels effectively. So, let’s get started.
