Ian Loveall Ian Loveall was raised on the Central Coast of California in a charming little town called Paso Robles. He began drawing as soon as he could hold a crayon, and hasn’t stopped since. As a child, he studied drawing with Deborah Kunic, a professional artist and family friend. With her expertise for guidance and California’s beautiful Central Coast for inspiration, Ian had plenty to keep him busy in his sketchbook! <p> At the age of 14, Ian moved with his family to Valencia in Southern California. It was here that Ian met and studied with Jay Wegter, a professional watercolorist who taught Ian a technique called ‘en plein air,’ or ‘to paint directly from nature.’ During this period, Ian fell in love with landscape painting and decided to pursue art as a profession. He began teaching private drawing classes and enrolled in the art program at the College of the Canyons. It was here that Ian began his first mural.dkdk
