Film making is the process by which a film is made. The different stages of filmmaking include development, pre-production, production, post-production and distribution. A low budget film is a film that is cheaply produced by unrecognized directors who can not afford the costly sets, costumes, and actors (among other logistics of film making) that feature films can afford. Low budget film actors and technicians are not often paid and operate for the artistic idea.

In this series of instructional video clips, you’ll learn more about low-budget or Independent film making. The first step to making an Indie film is to get over the contracts, releases and other legal issues dealing with scripts and copyrights.
