Tamir Elterman Tamir Elterman was born in Berkeley, CA in August of 1984. In the 7th grade, he decided to pursue two of the toughest sports: football and lacrosse. Playing both sports gave Tamir the ability to show his peers that despite his small stature, he was a true athlete. Lacrosse became Tamir’s primary sport at Berkeley High School where he played all four years and won Most Inspirational Player and was nominated as team captain deemed by his coaches and teammates. Tamir played three years at the University of Oregon, where he excelled as a short stick defender and was recognized by the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League as the best defensive midfielder in the league. In achieving this award, he led the Ducks defense to three consecutive league championships and national tournament appearances. The Ducks finished in the USLIA top 10 nationally all three years. Since graduating from The U of O, Tamir has taught at several lacrosse camps in Oregon and is working to produce a feature length documentary.dkdk
