The specific origins of the game of soccer are a bit muddy. However, it is well-known that a soccer-like game has been played around the world for almost 3,000 years. The game as we know it was conceived in England. Soccer (a.k.a. futbol or football) was a very violent sport that had no rules. There were actually laws passed to stop the game, but they failed to control the situation. Soccer later adopted rules and became the game it is today, though hooliganism remains as a vestige of simpler, more brutal times. Just ask Zinedine Zidane about that one!

All kidding aside, in this free youth soccer video series, learn some fundamental soccer skills and moves. Our coach will lead you through some of the basic soccer drills you need to practice to get good at the game. Learn how to dribble, how to pass, how to shoot, how to trap the ball, how to juggle, and how to properly throw the ball in. Also learn some techniques for playing various soccer positions, including goalie. These sports videos will start you on your way to becoming a great soccer player. The key is to practice, practice, practice.
