Physio balls are growing in popularity in gyms across the country and around the world. Often called Swiss balls, exercise balls, body balls, or stability balls, the physio ball is a great addition to any home gym. The ball requires more muscle movement in order to perform exercises because of the instability of the round surface of the ball. It is often used for core training, but can also be used in addition to hand weights for muscle building. It is often used in yoga or Pilates practice and can be used in physical therapy sessions to strengthen back and abdominal muscles. Physio ball exercises can also increase core body muscle mobility and flexibility.

In this series of expert exercise videos, you will observe many physio ball exercises. Watch as our expert guides you through an oblique stretching exercise in a step-by-step demonstration. Increase your range of motion using the physio ball with the three part series of expert videos. Learn valuable stretches for the physio ball including a back stretch and an abdominal stretch. See expert videos on bridging exercises, back extensions, reverse sit-ups, and sit-up variations using the physio ball. Get a full-body workout using this innovative piece of gym equipment!
