After mastering the basics, you're well aware that yoga can increase strength, improve coordination and lower stress levels. But with this advanced series, Expert Village offers a different perspective on the yoga tradition. To wit, our instructor will take you upside down, thereby positioning your heart above your head and sending blood rushing to the upper extremities - which will not be so upper once you master these challenging inversion poses. In addition to the health benefits common to all yoga exercises, inversions target the lungs, heart and thyroid.

Watch this free series of clips to learn hip lifts, handstands, and headstands, as well as variations of the dolphin, scorpion and downward dog poses. In no time, you'll be walking down a wall, bending feet behind your head and walking down a wall with your feet bent behind your head. So twist, turn and invert your way to a better you!
