Series Summary

Kung Fu is a traditional form of martial arts native to China. The forms of combat arts that make up Kung Fu can be traced as far back as the 12th century BC. The term “Kung Fu” actually refers to any individual accomplishment or cultivated skill obtained by long and hard work. The term was popularized in Western countries in the 20th century by Hong Kong films in the 1960s.

In this free video series, our expert Jack C. Huang will teach you how to use various body parts in kung fu and other martial arts. He will teach you how your body parts like head, face, shoulders, fists, hands, fingers, wrists, arms, elbows, and knees can be used as weapons. He will talk about the strengths and weaknesses of these body parts, and give some general tips for doing martial arts. He also talk about the feet, the instep, thighs, shins, and hips.
