Thai Boxing, or Muay Thai, has a long history in Thailand, where it is the country's national sport. It is also practiced in several Southeast Asian countries, and has been heavily influence by martial arts from China and India. It is a form of kick-boxing in which the participants use kicks and punches in a ring with gloves similar to Western boxing gloves. Thai boxing is also referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs” because the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively, and can strike eight points of contact.

In this free martial arts video, our expert trainer will instruct on how to do a variety of Thai Boxing moves. He will show basic kicks, punches, and elbow jabs for the beginner training for Thai Boxing. With step-by-step instructions, our expert will give you the tools to get started in Thai kick-boxing by also showing stance tips and techniques, as well as the appropriate equipment you'll need to get started.
