Fly fishing, also known as angling, has been around for hundreds of years. Mostly done in streams and rivers this form of fishing mainly focuses on trout and salmon but has also been known to catch bass as well. This form of fishing involves what is known as a “fly” which is a small handmade lure that resembles an actual fly. This is cast and lays flat on the water just as a real fly would. The fish attack it thinking it's a real fly and the rest is dinner. This is by no means easy. It takes a lot of practice to get the casting right but when it is done right it is one of the most relaxing sports out there.

This is a great video series for anyone who is looking to get into fly fishing. It covers all the basics such as casting and technique but it also dives into important things such as choosing your rod and reel. The more you practice the better you will get but our expert will also start you off with some tips on how to immediately improve your aim. So take a gander at these videos and go catch a big one!
