Though there are numerous recommendations and suggestions concerning what sort of diet is best for dogs, it's certainly indisputable that every canine diet should be rich in protein, calcium and water. Pet owners have several choices when it comes to choosing a commercial dog food provider, and while many of the name brand foods, both dry and canned, claim to contain real meat and vegetables, some veterinarians and pet owners worry that the additives combined with poor-quality meat in commercial food isn't adequate for proper canine nutrition. For these reasons, many pet owners have investigated ways to supplement their pet's nutrition on their own at home, making meals for their dogs themselves using raw meats and vegetables, eggs, cheeses and a variety of homemade treats. Some pet owners choose to give their dogs a strictly vegetarian diet, steaming vegetables and cooking eggs for their pets daily.
In this free video clip series, our expert will discuss the advantages of preparing dog food at home, as well as demonstrate the process for creating a variety of meals and treats for your pet with meat, fruits, vegetables and supplements. Omelets, stews, strips, and individual training treats will be prepared and explained for you. Learn how to chop and grind the food you will use for each recipe, as well as the actual steps you will take to provide your canine with all the benefits of a nutrient-rich homemade diet.
