Training your dog to obey basic commands is part of responsible ownership. Dogs do not learn these traits on their own, but if taught, will retain the knowledge willingly. The recall command is one of the five basic pet behaviors that can be trained. The other four pet behaviors are “sit, down, stay and heel.” The recall command is the most important command because this will keep your pet close and safe. An important concept to remember with training your puppy is that the dog must never be corrected after the recall command. Keeping that in mind, training your puppy should be an easy task when you devote time to your pet.

In this series of expert videos, learn how to train your dog with the recall command. Your dog will learn to follow your commands after you learn the trade from our expert dog handler.
