It is very important to keep a balanced diet. Especially these days when it is so easy to eat fast food every day. Vegetables are a big part of a balanced diet so it is vital to have them with as many meals as we can. They provide nutrients and vitamins that other foods don't have and also can add a wonderful specific flavor to any dish. There are many ways to serve veggies from steamed to grilled to raw the possibilities are great! Each way of cooking and serving these delicious morsels has a different preparation and knowing specifically what to do with each is just as important as choosing the veggie itself.

In this free video clip series our expert, Louis Ortiz, walks us through several different preparation styles of many of the most popular vegetables of choice. From tomatoes to onions and even garlic each is specially prepared to serve the dish it is selected for and he walks us through every step of the way. Do you know how to peel a tomato? Neither did I until I saw Louis do it in clip 34. Amazing! So take some time and make sure the next time you are cooking and want to include your fair share of veggies you are ready to roll!
