How to Change My PayPal Account on eBay (7 Steps)

You can bid on or sell items of all types on eBay, the biggest virtual auction site on the Internet today, but without a valid PayPal account, it may be tough to do business on the site since many sellers and bidders use PayPal as their primary means of payment. If you’ve got an outdated or otherwise unused PayPal account linked to eBay, update your eBay account with your new PayPal details.
Step 1
Open the eBay website and log in to your user account.
Step 2
Hover the mouse cursor on your account menu and click “Account Settings” in the drop-down menu. You can also click “My eBay” and click the “Account” tab to access your account settings.
Step 3
Click “PayPal Account” in the “My Account” menu.
Step 4
Click the “Remove Link” link next to “Your eBay Account is Linked with your PayPal Account.”
Step 5
Click “PayPal Account” in the “My Account” menu again.
Step 6
Click the “Link My PayPal Account” button underneath “Already Have a PayPal Account?”
Step 7
Enter the new PayPal account e-mail address and password and click the “Link Your Account” button.
