Hi, I'm Liz Watts. I'm certified to work with small devices - particularly, the iPod Touch. What we're going to talk about today is when iTunes will not recognize your iPod Touch, but you're having some glitches, or freezes, or some issues, and you need to do a restore, there's still an option for you. What you'll do is hit your home button. Slide to unlock. We're going to go to "Settings," In "Settings," you've got "General," and you'll tap "General." And then, all the way at the bottom, at the "General" tab, is a button that says "Reset." After you hit "Reset," you have options to restore network settings, as well as to erase all content and settings. This will also put your device back at factory settings. You just hit that. It's going to make sure that you want to do this. It's going to erase everything on the iPod. So, make sure that you do have a backup. It'll ask you again, and then it'll restart. And then, it'll be like it just came out of the box. And, that's how you do a restore when iTunes is not recognizing your iPod.
