Hello, I'm Norman Clarke with Norman Clarke Painting. Today, I'd like to talk to you about how to select interior paint. Now, that might seem overwhelming, and it could be. So, let's start with the area that you're going to paint. Take a look at it, look around at the furniture, the decor. And also, start thinking about what it is that you want to achieve. If it's a living room with, say, brown couches, and maybe a tan carpet, and you want to paint a burgundy, what type of a burgundy? Go to the paint store, pick up some paint samples. Put them on your wall and have a look. See which burgundy will work with your existing furniture, or your existing carpet. Another thing is to think about color palates. For instance, say you have a master bathroom, or a powder room, or a kitchen, that has blue or green tile on the floor. Now, you're not going to rip the tile out and replace it, you just want to do a quick fix and brighten things up. So, use what you have. Maybe use a darker green, or a lighter version of the green that's, say, on the tile. So, those are things to consider when looking at interior paint. Also, what time of the day do you mostly spend in that room? Do you want the heavy and tranquil room, or do you want a bright and airy bedroom or living room? Those are things to consider when you're picking interior paint. I'm Norman Clarke with Norman Clarke painting, talking to you today about how to choose interior colors. Thank you.
