Hi, this is Christine with Hammer Time Fitness. We're going to show you some strength training exercises using resistance band. I have Renee here to help me demonstrate some of the exercises. We're going to give Renee the resistance band; she's going to hold one handle on each hand. She's going to step on the band. Now, to both feet, make it more challenging, farther, farther your legs are apart. Now, this is strength training with the resistance band; so, I'm going to add some weights to this for Renee. If you're just starting out, don't worry about it, or maybe use a lower weight, like a two or a three. Renee is going to a five. She's, first exercise she's going to do is a bicep curl, just a standard bicep curl using a resistance band. So, she's working the front part of her arms here. She's got the weights and the resistance from the band working here, so, she's getting a really good workout. She's going to do about eight reps. Then she's going to do, she's going to let go of the band and we're going to use this bar behind us to demonstrate some more exercises, strength training. Now, she's going to do some exercises for her back here, her lats. So, she's going to turn this way, diagonal, right here. She is going to take that band and she is going to pull it 90 degrees with her arms, 90 degrees with her arms. She's pulling her arms back ninety degrees; you can see all the muscles in her arms. Excellent. She's working her lats on this one. Now, she's going to hold them back here, keep them right there and she's going to work triceps. So, that's the back of her arms. And she's just going to kick those weights back. Perfect. Just a little movement is all it takes. She's doing some strength training, she's got the weights here, she's got the resistance band and she's working the back of her arms here. Absolutely perfect. Again, she is going to do about eight repetitions and she's going to take those three exercises and do about three sets. If you're a beginner, start out with the lower weights.
