Hi, this is Christine with Hammer Time Fitness, and we are going to do some strength training for the legs using a resistance band. I have Rene here to help me demonstrate some of the exercises. First exercise I'm going to have Rene do it with a resistance band. She has taken her band and she has secured it to something. So she's looped it through the hoop. So make sure you secure your resistance band. And you can do these exercises anywhere. You can hook your band to a chair in your house. You can do it outside tat the park. On a tree or on a piece of playground equipment. So, anywhere will do. The first exercise she's going to perform for you today, she's going to lift her right leg so she's got her foot in the handle there. And she's got some resistance going, she could step out even a little bit further and get a resistance. Perfect. It's lift her leg for the hip flexors. Now, this one is working her hip flexors and her quad. Lifting her leg, exercise one. Now she's going to add to it. She's going to do about eight reps of this. Okay, now she's going to add to it. She's going to lift her leg working her quad and she's going to add a hop. So she's got some stability in there and a little extra workout. Lift and a hop. Again she's going to do about eight reps of that. Now she's going to even add on to this a little bit more. Make this a little more challenging. She's going to lift her leg. Perfect. Add the hop. Now, she's going to take that left leg and she's going to step it back in a lunge. Excellent. Perfect. Do it again. Hop and step it back in a lunge. Three exercises. She's added on, excellent. She's going to do about eight reps of those. Perfect. Again, you can do these anywhere. Hook your resistance band to get to you to the park. Attach it anywhere.
