Hi, this is Jeff at Light In Shining Armor Studio and today, we're going to talk about a Yoga pose that will help you if you're being treated for cancer. The reason I chose Cobra is due to the fact that being on your abdomen helps boost the immune system. We have a lot of lymph in our abdomen. So, being in this posture, if you're suffering or you have any sort of ailment, this will help heal the body naturally. You're going to bring your legs together, you bring your hands under your shoulders, elbows in, forehead to the mat. As you inhale, you're going to come up slightly. You keep the elbows bent. One of the things that people do is come up fast, lock the elbows which is not the posture. Relax the shoulders; we want to keep the hands flat. Engage the hands; thumb, fingertips are spread. Push the knuckles into the mat, we want to protect our wrists. You'll feel the posture in the lower back, but, as you're doing that, you're putting the pressure on your abdomen. Legs are relax; breath, slow, steady, deep. To come out of the posture, we exhale, we bring our forehead back to the mat. You can bring your hands into pillow position underneath the forehead. Turn your head left or right; relax the legs and we're done. So again, that was Cobra, that's a pose you can do to help aid in the treatment of cancer. I'm Jeff at Light In Shining Armor Studio. Thank you.
