Hi, this is Christine with Hammer Time Fitness, and I'm here to talk with you today about running versus walking. Now, definitely, I don't think I need to tell you this, running is going to burn more calories than walking. You're going to get your heart rate up and you're going to burn more calories. But, if you can't run or you're not at that level, you're a beginner, and you're still walking, that is great. You're out there moving around and you're getting it done. So, to increase your calorie expenditure with your walking, you need to increase your speed, and you need to increase the length of your walk. If you want to go to running, that's great. Running versus walking, they're both excellent; they're both out there and you're getting it done and you're burning calories. So, either one, I encourage you to do. But just remember, you know, if you run, you're going to burn your calories quicker. It's going to take you less time. This has been Christine with Hammer Time Fitness, talking to you about running versus walking.
