Hi, my name is Bob Linde. I'm an Acupuncture Physician and Registered Herbalist. Today, I'm going to talk to you about home remedies for herbal cleansing. One of the best cleanses that we can do, and doesn't require any cost whatsoever, is belly breathing or diaphragmatic breathing. So, by doing that, we can actually move two-thirds lymphatic system of our body causing relaxation, as well as a good, thorough cleansing of one of the ways disposal systems of our body. Of course, making sure we're drinking plenty of water to ensure that we're able to nourish our body and ourselves throughout us, and it will also help with bowel movements. Because if our bowels aren't moving, we're also not eliminating waste, waste in the proper way. But, if you want to add some herbs into that, it can be very effective in helping with the liver, and it's a job in detoxifying the body as well, as if we've been abusing our liver a little bit through medications or alcohol. Some of the herbs can actually, have been shown to regenerate the liver cells. So, it's a good combination. So, the combo that I like to use is Dandelion leaf or Pu Gong Ying in Chinese herbalism, milk thistle which is a westerner or Pi Yan herb and Cleavers. So, the Dandelion actually, because of its bitter flavor will help to stimulate the bial production in our, our gallbladder as well, as seems to positively effect the liver. The milk thistle will help to regenerate the liver cells, and the Cleavers is oftentimes known as an herb that can help with the lymphatic system. So, what I like to do is do about a teaspoon of each one of these herbs, place that into your French press. Add two cups of hot water, let it steep anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. Once it's comfortable to drink, we can go ahead and enjoy one cup twice a day as we eat that clean healthy diet and drink clear cool water throughout the day. So, this is Bob Linde, talking to you about home herbal remedies to cleanse the body.
