Hello. This is Coreen from Shakes Bakes, and right now we are going to be making a spicy southwest tomato soup. So for that, we are going to need a few ingredients, one of them being one cup of milk. We need a third of a cup of black beans, a third of a cup of corn, and a spice medley that consists of one teaspoon black pepper, one teaspoon lemon pepper, one teaspoon salt, and a half of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper. In addition to that, we need our pot that we are going to be cooking our ingredients in. First thing's first, I want you to take your pot over to the stove. Want to add to it our cup of milk. Get all of that milk into the pot. Next, we're going to be adding our tomato paste, which I don't seem to have opened yet, but that won't take very long. There we go. Wasn't so bad. Careful with that top. This is the tricky part. Come on now. There you go. Tomato paste tends to be stubborn, it's very pasty, just like its name. That helps. Okay. I'm just going to let this warm up, and once it's incorporated a little bit good enough, let's grab our beans... get those in there, warming up. Okay. I say at this point we simmer our ingredients for about 15 minutes on medium heat, covered. So at this point, we're ready for our corn. Sorry. Just going to give a nice stir. There we go. Okay. Lot of time, thick soups tend to pop like that when they're being heated. And, it's also time for our spice medley. All in. This you're just going to let heat through. Shouldn't even take three minutes. So, we're just about done, and we're going to go ahead and turn off our flame, because she's heated all the way through, and... that's it. This is how you make a spicy southwest tomato soup.
