I'm Terry with Towers Murray Plumbing in Murray, Utah. Today, we're going to show you to thread a pipe with using a threading machine. First thing you need to do is ream your pipe. Reamer's use to take off the inside bur that the cutting has place in there. Once you've reamed your pipe, you're ready to thread it. Now, when threading the pipe, you got to make sure to keep a constant flow of oil. Oil lubricates the threads. It also keeps your teeth from breaking down. Now, you've had, got a threaded pipe that will thread into your fittings. Now, other threaders that can be used are hand threaders. Hand threaders can be used with the ratchet if need to be threaded while the pipe's still in place in a wall coming out of the ground. And again, I'm Terry, Towers Murray Plumbing, Murray, Utah; we've just talked to you about how to thread a pipe using a threading machine.
