I'm Terry with Towers Murray Plumbing, Murray, Utah. Today, we're going to show you how to change your shower head, maybe how to pick out the right appropriate shower head for you. Different kinds of shower heads, different adjustabilities, you'll be able to pick out the shower head you want to have when you've decided which one is the right one for you. Some have adjustments on the side, some of them the adjustment's on the front. You'll also have options of different hand-held showers and different hand-held brackets. We'll show you how to change shower head, fairly easy for, for most of you to do. You can get shower heads also in different sizes, different diameters, different adjustabilities. We'll show you how to replace the shower head here. Tools that will be needed; pair of pliers, Teflon tape. First thing you want to do, get your, your pliers adjusted to the right point. Get a grip on this. You want one hand on the arm so that you don't twist the arm out of the wall. Go ahead and unscrew that shower head. Now, at this point, you want to take a look at the arm itself; make sure that the threads are still in good shape and that you've got no problems there. Then, take your Teflon tape; put a little bit, three to four wraps of Teflon tape on that shower arm. Take the new head. Some of them may have a washer in them, others use just a Teflon tape. Most of your shower heads these days, they all have restrictions to them; so they're restricted to the right amount of flow for that shower head. Go ahead and get the shower head started on there and tight. Take your pliers and you're going to tighten that thing up just 'till it's nice and snug. Now, you're ready for a new shower.
